The life of a real estate agent is basically unpredictable.


It is a client services industry, so you need to be ready for anything.


We try to structure our day according to a prescribed outline, called the ideal weekly schedule. It is a guideline more than a rigid work schedule. We place our applicants one at a time in the program and have limited seating available. Only the most competitive applicants will be accepted. Any applicants accepted, who perform well within the program will have the opportunity to stay on full-time with Whissel Realty Group.

What is the duration of the program?

  • Flexible, 30-180 days. We base the program around the needs of the service member.

What is the daily routine like?

  • Morning two-hour meeting followed by required reading/studies, OJT, and database building

Is it a paid internship?

  • No

Do I have to be licensed?

  • No, however special consideration will be given to those who already hold a California Real Estate License.

Will I get a job at the end of the internship?

  • It is possible, Whissel Realty Group is highly selective. It will depend on the number of available positions and the intern's performance.

What are the working hours?

  • Flexible, 9-5 or 10-6 throughout the week with opportunities for weekends.

What is the appointed place of duty?

  • Hybrid based. Working from home and in the office.

Is childcare available?

  • The great part about this internship is the flexibility option to work from home.






What are the basic responsibilities?

The customary duties while in Skillbridge is as follows:

  • Navigate and work with customer relationship management system (CRM)
  • Communications with clients on a daily basis Assist with scheduling (Home showings, client meetings, etc)
  • Attend Home Inspection with the agent
  • Attend VP (final walk-through) with agent
  • Conduct Key Ceremony with agent
  • Generating Comparative Market Analysis (CMAs)
  • Performing Buyer Searches
  • Email screening and communications
  • Contract writing and screening with agent
  • Generating reports
  • Attending customer facing appointments
  • Driving clients
  • Collecting and distributing materials
  • Delivering keys, contracts and other goods as necessary
  • Managing physical elements of showings
  • Preparing and conducting buyer showings
  • Copying keys
  • Assisting with Open Houses
  • Setting up and breaking down signs at OH
  • Printing and disseminating flyers
  • Outbound client outreach
  • Facilitating marketing campaigns
  • Sales and prospecting training
